This was reported by the Chechnya Segodnya agency. According to it, the award ceremony took place at an event in Grozny dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the State Traffic Inspectorate.

"A commemorative jubilee medal, '90 Years of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry,' was also presented to the head of Chechnya. The same medal was awarded to the assistant to the head of the Chechen Republic, secretary of the Security Council of the Chechen Republic, Adam Kadyrov," it says.

At the end of June, Verstka found in one of the Instagram accounts linked to the son of the head of Chechnya a video showing him driving into the oncoming lane at excessive speed.

🔵In January, media outlets reported that Adam Kadyrov had been involved in an accident in Grozny. Novaya Gazeta Europe wrote that the driver of the other car was killed in the crash. Citing sources, the publication reported that after the accident the younger Kadyrov spent three weeks in Botkin Hospital, where his spleen was removed.
