The Ukrainian Armed Forces deny that Russia has fully captured Konstantinovka

This was stated to the Interfax-Ukraine agency by Andriy Kovalev, spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"According to the display of the operational situation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine's AS COK Dzvin and the DELTA system's combat contact line, the settlement of Konstantinovka remains under the control of Ukraine's Defense Forces. Military units and subdivisions of the 19th Army Corps of Operational Grouping East continue conducting a defensive operation at designated lines within the settlement and on its approaches," he noted.

🔵On the evening of July 3, the full capture of Konstantinovka during Vladimir Putin's visit to one of the headquarters of the Russian military was announced by Valery Gerasimov, chief of Russia's General Staff.

🔵Fighting for Konstantinovka, a major industrial center and key transport hub of Donetsk region, has been ongoing since October 2025. At the beginning of 2022, nearly 80,000 people lived in the city, making it the ninth-largest in the region by population.
