A Moscow court fined Telegram and Google
Moscow’s Tagansky Court fined Telegram seven million rubles for “failing to remove content banned in Russia.”
Interfax writes that Telegram’s fines in 2026 have approached 80 million rubles. According to Vedomosti’s calculations, the total fines imposed on the messenger in Russia exceed 195 million rubles.
The court also fined Google 15 million rubles.
