Russian Defense Ministry: Ukraine refused the “humanitarian action” in Kostiantynivka

The Russian military ministry reported that the Ukrainian side did not agree to the proposal for a ceasefire in Kostiantynivka for the “transfer of the bodies of fallen AFU servicemen” during the “handling of this issue through the special services channel.”

Earlier, the Defense Ministry proposed that Ukraine stop shelling the city from 12:00 to 18:00 on July 6 in order to carry out the humanitarian action. The Defense Ministry also said it was ready to organize journalists’ work to cover the process.

🔵On July 4, the Kremlin said that Russia had captured one of the key cities in the north of Donetsk region — Kostiantynivka. Ukraine claims it retains control of the city. “If Kostiantynivka is now under Russia’s control, then Putin will have no problem meeting me there,” Volodymyr Zelensky said.
