Trump did not say the phrase "Ukrainians are better than anyone else in Europe in this battle." The line attributed to Trump was actually said by host Hugh Hewitt.

Hewitt was trying to squeeze at least something complimentary toward Ukraine out of Trump. He partly succeeded, but overall Trump did not change his rhetoric, so stand down.

Mr. President, I am very disappointed in Europe. However, I am very inspired by Zelensky. President Zelensky sent those anti-drone things to the UAE, do you have a better attitude toward Zelensky now?

Well, first of all, we have wonderful drone things and anti-drone things. And, you know, when he [Zelensky] proposed his... He is a tricky person, he is a tricky guy. And we want a settlement.

You know, they are losing territory (that Putin talking point surfaced during their last conversation after all, - editor's note), but it is coming at a great cost to Russia, and to them [Ukraine] too.

I like Zelensky. I always kind of got along with him, except for one moment at the White House, which I thought was a little aggressive on his part, that Oval Office, I am sure you remember.

But I will say this: look, Biden gave them $350 billion in money and equipment, and that is AB-SURD (he pronounced it syllable by syllable, - editor's note), but he did it. And I sell them equipment, the full course, we sell it to the EU, we sell it to NATO basically, and they pass it on...

I will say this: they are fighting. Because whether the equipment is wonderful or not so wonderful, they are capable of fighting. [Hard to hear] month, they held this for a long time.

They are the best in Europe in this battle. At least they are helping.

Well, Europe has been very disappointing. NATO did not help us, we spent trillions on NATO.
