Cyber squads and media patrols will be formed from technical school and college students, and they will be tasked with identifying “negative social phenomena” by monitoring social media and writing denunciations.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin has set the task of strengthening work on preventing crime among children and adolescents. The new document consolidates the efforts of the state and society to improve effective preventive work taking modern challenges into account, including the influence of the digital environment,” said agency head Grigory Gurov.
