Dagestan’s new acting head dismisses the republic’s government
This follows from a decree signed by Fyodor Shchukin.
Magomed Ramazanov has been appointed acting prime minister; he previously served as the presidential envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District.
🔵On April 30, Vladimir Putin dismissed Sergei Melikov from the post of head of Dagestan. Shchukin, who had previously served as chairman of the republic’s Supreme Court, was proposed for the acting post by representatives of Dagestan. Putin supported this.
