Zelensky said that the Russian army committed 1,820 violations of the “ceasefire regime”
This was stated on the Telegram channel of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Assault operations continue on all key sectors of the front, and since the beginning of this day alone the Russian army has already carried out almost 30 assaults. More than 20 airstrikes using more than 70 aerial bombs were recorded during tonight and this morning alone.
During the night, the Russian army also carried out strikes with drones of various types. In particular, our Defense Forces of Ukraine neutralized almost ninety attack drones. There were also missile strikes. In total, as of 10 a.m., the Russian army had committed 1,820 violations of the ceasefire regime: shelling, attempted assaults, airstrikes, and the use of drones.”
🔵Zelensky proposed introducing a “ceasefire regime” starting at 00:00 on the night of May 5 to May 6 in response to the Russian Defense Ministry’s statement about a truce on May 8–9.
On May 6, Ukraine reported strikes on the Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions. The Russian Defense Ministry reported downed drones in the morning, without specifying the time they were launched.
