Omsk Region Attacked by Drones. The Omsk Oil Refinery Was Hit

The attack was reported by the region’s governor, Vitaly Khotsenko. According to him, drones were shot down over the region, and the “consequences of the attack are being clarified.”

A “drone danger” alert was declared in the region for the second time since the start of the full-scale war.

Against the backdrop of the attack, restrictions were introduced at Omsk airport for the first time because of drones, Rosaviatsia reported.

Ukrainian Telegram channels write that the Omsk oil refinery was hit. Numerous photos and videos of a fire at the refinery have appeared online.

There is no official confirmation of this information. The governor only said that “several drones managed to reach Omsk’s northern industrial hub.”

🔹The Omsk oil refinery is among the ten largest Russian refineries and is located about 2,500 km from the Ukrainian border.
