Peskov says Putin and Trump “understand that their contacts will continue in the near future”

That is how the Kremlin spokesman commented on reports that Putin and Trump had allegedly agreed to speak by phone after the U.S. president’s meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky at the NATO summit.

Peskov added that Trump has “a fairly consistent position, and all these fabrications that he supposedly changes his point of view like a weather vane, of course, do not correspond to reality.”

According to the Kremlin, “Trump is open to listening to the information that Putin conveys to him,” TASS writes.
