A payment service suddenly and without explanation disabled Mediazona’s ability to accept donations from Russian bank cards.

The journalists instantly lost more than 1,500 subscribers who had been donating more than 800,000 rubles every month.

Subscriptions from foreign bank cards can restore the lost donations and save Mediazona.

Mediazona has existed for more than 11 years. Throughout all this time, the editorial team has kept a detailed court chronicle of political repression and persecution in Russia, and since the start of the full-scale war it has compiled a name-by-name list of confirmed Russian army losses in Ukraine.
