Right now, the deaths of six people have been confirmed: parents Artyom and Olena Voronov, their two sons aged 11 and 17, their 6-year-old daughter, and their one-and-a-half-year-old grandson.

They are searching under the rubble for four more children. In total, Artyom and Olena Voronov had 10 children. Their eldest son serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and another son and daughter are abroad.

I don't know what to say at moments like this.

That Russia is a bastard fucking state? That in the 21st century there has still been no greater evil than the Russian Federation? That ISIS, Hamas, and the "Taliban" are nervously smoking on the sidelines compared with the Russian Federation (first and foremost in terms of the scale of the crimes committed)? All of this has become so banal over four and a half years of war.

I will probably just talk about this murder, once again addressing the West.

Dear West, whose values we grew up on and whose moral guidelines and ideology, despite every reservation, are still the most progressive and humanistic of everything humanity has created.

Dear West, while you were greeting the dawn today, drinking coffee, going for runs, planning your day, Russia killed 8 children and their parents with a direct missile strike.

Dear West, Ukraine cannot carry this war alone. Not because Ukraine is weak, but because it has 4 times fewer people.

Dear West, we know how tired you are of bad news and how much you want to live your best life. But there will be no life at all until evil is defeated or at least stopped.

Dear West, please know that today 8 Ukrainian children and their parents were killed. Run that through your head. And think about what you did, and what you did NOT do, to stop this.
