Russia’s national hockey team barred from the 2027 World Championship
This was reported by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
The organization’s council ruled that the Russian team will not be allowed to take part in tournaments in the 2026/27 season “due to ongoing concerns related to safety, security, and sporting integrity.”
