This is being reported by Ostorozhno, Novosti, citing representatives of Ozon and Yandex Market.
“We work in strict accordance with the law. After a person or materials are included in the list of terrorists and extremists, we review the product range and block the relevant product listings. In the near future, goods directly related to Pavel Durov, including books and products with his image, will be hidden from our storefront,” Ozon said.
At the moment, marketplaces offer life-size cutouts of Durov, mugs, stickers, and T-shirts with his image, the biographical book The Durov Code, and merchandise with the hashtag #FreeDurov, which appeared after the businessman’s detention in Paris in 2024.
“Yandex Market operates in accordance with the requirements of the law,” the Yandex Market press service added.
