Investigators in the Moscow Region only after a week let the 13-year-old schoolgirl go home after she disappeared and was found with a 22-year-old man. Psychologists worked with her
The schoolgirl left home on July 19 and went missing. Residents of the village near Serpukhov where she lives, volunteers, and the police took part in the search. On the third day, July 22, she was found 150 kilometers from home together with a 22-year-old man. According to preliminary data, they met online.
The girl was not allowed to go home. The schoolgirl’s mother, Natalya, told the media that she was also not allowed to see the child right away. As has now become known, until July 29 the girl was in a rehabilitation center, where psychologists and investigators worked with her. The mother was allowed to speak with her a day after the schoolgirl was found. A few days later, they were finally able to see each other.
The mother took the schoolgirl home on July 29. “Yes, she is already home. She’s okay. She is better within her own walls. She will not be returning to the center, but she will continue working with psychologists. She says she missed home very much. Right now she is washing up, catching up on sleep, and recovering her strength,” the girl’s mother said.
Information about what exactly happened to the girl during the time she was missing has not been disclosed. Nothing is known about the man the schoolgirl was found with either. “There is absolutely no information about that at all. And I think the Investigative Committee will in any case keep this information, so to speak, under a veil of secrecy until the very end,” Natalya said. At the same time, according to her, that young man is “directly” connected to her daughter’s disappearance.
