Ukraine’s Armed Forces claim they attacked eight tankers from Russia’s “shadow fleet” in the Sea of Azov

Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces Robert “Madyar” Brovdi said the attack took place on the night of July 7. Brovdi added that today’s strike also hit one dry cargo ship and one ferry. All the tankers, he said, sustained serious damage. It is still impossible to assess the total damage.

“The battle for gasoline for Crimea in the Sea of Azov continues,” Brovdi wrote.

The Russian side has not commented on the attack.
