The Digital Ministry said that introducing charges for foreign traffic "is not under consideration."
"Charges for foreign traffic are not under consideration," Ivan Lebedev, State Secretary and Deputy Head of the Digital Ministry, said during a plenary session in the State Duma, commenting on a deputy's remarks about introducing an additional fee, RIA Novosti writes.
Earlier, RBC, citing sources, wrote that an additional fee for consuming more than 15 gigabytes of foreign traffic per month was planned to be introduced after the State Duma elections on September 18-20.
