❗️ Publishing the proposals of the experts from Yulia Navalnaya’s 4th Forum

At Yulia Navalnaya’s fourth expert Forum, which took place in May of this year, participants discussed the transition period and worked on a plan for the changes Russia will need after the end of Putin’s dictatorship.

Fifty experts took part in the discussions: lawyers, economists, human rights defenders, environmentalists, high-tech specialists, politicians, and others. As at the previous Forums, Russian students from foreign universities joined the discussions.

Today, Yulia Navalnaya’s website published the proposals put forward by the experts following the Forum:

🔴 Party system and electoral reform

🔴 Regional policy and decentralization

🔴 Rehabilitation of political prisoners

🔴 Foreign policy of the new Russia in the European direction

🔴 Greening and a just energy transition

🔴 Technology policy

These proposals are part of a larger effort to develop a program of change. They will still be discussed, refined, and expanded at future Forums.

In our joint work, we will continue thinking through both the first steps after political change and the deeper, more structural changes in different spheres of life, without which it is impossible to build a free, modern, and democratic Russia.
