Rosnano Won Its Court Case Against Chubais and Eight Former Top Managers. They Now Owe the Corporation Nearly 12 Billion Rubles
The court satisfied Rosnano’s claim for 11.9 billion rubles against the state corporation’s former top managers, including Anatoly Chubais, Interfax reports, citing the court’s press service.
The lawsuit was filed in December 2025 and concerned the recovery of losses under the Crocus project. It said that the investments directed into the project had been used to create and finance project companies “on terms unfavorable to Rosnano” and contrary to “the purposes of Rosnano’s operations.”
The Crocus project was supposed to create production of MRAM magnetoresistive random-access memory. Interfax wrote that at the time, Rosnano and a number of funds invested about 55 million dollars in the charter capital of the company created for this purpose, while the total volume of investment in the MRAM production project exceeded 200 million euros, including Rosnano co-financing in the amount of 100 million euros.
