The State Duma removed data on restricted, defense, and energy facilities from open access

State Duma deputies passed a law excluding information on restricted, defense, and energy facilities from open access. The data will disappear from the cadastral map, as well as from the Unified State Register of Real Estate.

The law applies to restricted and defense real estate, fuel and energy complex facilities, and transport infrastructure, including defense industry enterprises and oil refineries.

According to United Russia deputies, this information must be concealed because of the “significantly increased threats against” such facilities.
