Putin called the fuel crisis 'temporary,' said that the attempt to create a 'nervous atmosphere' in society is 'an impossible task'

He said this at a meeting with government members, RIA Novosti reports.

"The strength reserve of Russia's energy system is very high, one of the highest in the world," Vladimir Putin noted.

In his opinion, the gasoline crisis is linked to Ukraine's "attempts" to "disrupt the vacation season." Putin also supported involving small and medium-sized businesses in oil refining and expanding the network of refineries.
