Astrakhan to start selling gasoline based on odd and even license plate numbers

This was reported by the region’s governor, Igor Babushkin.

“Starting tomorrow in the city of Astrakhan, motorists whose plate numbers end in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 will be able to buy fuel on odd-numbered days, and those ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 on even-numbered days,” he said.

According to him, a temporary operating schedule will also be introduced across the entire region for gas stations that will sell high-octane 92 and 95 gasoline.

“The decision was made to consolidate fuel reserves at several stations rather than distribute them in small volumes across all gas stations. A schedule will also be introduced for rural areas, but on a territorial basis, from district to district every other day,” the governor added.

At the same time, diesel fuel and gas will continue to be sold as usual at all gas stations.
