Russia violated the May ceasefire.

To safely hold the parade in Moscow, the Kremlin requested a truce for May 9. Ukraine announced the start of a ceasefire regime from 00:00 on the night of May 5. As expected, Russia immediately violated the truce, striking a kindergarten in Sumy and attacking the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Donetsk, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions with missiles and drones. On May 7, the Russian Armed Forces continue striking Dnipro and Kharkiv.

Ukraine had warned that in the event of a ceasefire violation it would act symmetrically, so Russian soldiers will continue dying on an industrial scale. As for us, we hope Ukrainian drones will still take part in the parade in Moscow, but that is for Ukraine's military-political command to decide.

It is remarkable, of course, that you can reach an agreement with the very devil, but not with Russia. Even the insane ayatollah regime in Iran, where people are hanged in public squares and women are stoned, was able to agree with the Americans on a ceasefire to save the lives of its people. But the Kremlin wants endless death, blood, and destruction.
