Utility tariffs to be raised in annexed Crimea and Sevastopol amid power and water outages
Starting October 1, 2026, the authorities in annexed Crimea and Sevastopol plan to raise heating and water supply tariffs, The Insider writes. Electricity tariffs may rise by up to 11.3%, and gas prices by 13.8%. This will already be the second increase in utility tariffs in Sevastopol in 2026.
A similar increase is forecast for residents of annexed Crimea as well. From October, heating and water supply tariffs may increase by up to 14%. Electricity will become 11.3% more expensive, natural gas 10.1%, and liquefied gas 5.1%.
