The EU will not evacuate its diplomatic mission from Kyiv because of Russia’s threats to strike the capital of Ukraine

This was stated by European Commission foreign affairs spokesperson Anouar El Anouni.

"Russia is once again outrageously trying to blame Ukraine for its own aggressive war… We will not change our position or our presence in Kyiv. Russian attacks are, unfortunately, a daily reality both for Kyiv and for other parts of Ukraine," he noted.

🔵Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry unilaterally announced a ceasefire for May 8–9. In response, Volodymyr Zelensky announced a "regime of silence" starting from 00:00 on the night of May 5 to 6. According to him, Ukraine will "act in a mirror-like manner, starting from the specified moment."
