Head of Irkutsk Yabloko gets another ten days of arrest

Grigory Gribenko, head of the Irkutsk branch of the Yabloko party, had been serving 12 days in a special detention center for refusing to undergo a medical examination; today he was sent to detention for another ten days.

According to the outlet “7x7,” Gribenko was tried in a case on disobeying police officers.

“As I said, they decided to put Grigory through a so-called ‘carousel’ of administrative arrests. I fear this may not be the last arrest,” his associate Pavel Kharitonenko said.

🔵Grigory Gribenko was detained on April 23. In February, the politician wanted to hold a rally against the blocking of Telegram in Irkutsk, but did not receive approval from the authorities.
