Urban preservation activist Oleg Mukhin was detained near Peterhof. He was lured to a meeting with security officers under the guise of an interview with journalists about a decaying architectural monument

This was reported by MR7, citing a lawyer who was able to speak with the director of the Goloday foundation.

According to the outlet's source, the day before, people who introduced themselves as employees of Channel 78 asked Mukhin for a meeting near Mikhailovskaya Dacha. But when the urban preservation activist arrived at the site, he was met there by representatives of Center E and taken to the city's 76th police precinct.

According to the lawyer, representatives of Channel 78 contacted him and said they had not sent any of their journalists to meet with the urban preservation activist.

Also detained today was Ivan Apostolevsky, head of the Communist Party faction in the Leningrad Region Legislative Assembly, attorney Sergei Podolsky told MR7.

Apostolevsky and Mukhin are accused of displaying extremist symbols, but their cases are not connected to each other.
