Italy expels two Russian embassy employees in Rome “for espionage activities”
Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani reported this.
According to him, Ivan Gorbachev and Mikhail Astakhov will be expelled:
Moscow continues to use its hybrid weapons to attack the West and Italy. This is serious and unacceptable interference in the affairs of Italian institutions and national security.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry said that Moscow will respond to the expulsion of the Russian diplomats.
