Grief in the Kremlin: Putin Seems to Have Been Fired from Being a Kiss-Ass. Trump Didn’t Call.

Grief in the Kremlin. Putin seems to have been fired from being a kiss-ass. Trump didn’t call.

The Kremlin ghoul, swallowing tears, sat all evening with a dead phone line. Peskov was dripping valerian. In vain.

Trump had promised to chat, scheduled a call for the evening after the summit.

And then blew him off.

In such cases, diplomatic services usually spend a long time curtsying.

But no one even apologized, didn’t even ring up casually to say something like, "the boss is busy."

And Putin, while waiting for the chance to play kiss-ass, canceled all his business.

A huge embarrassment.

Paradoxical as it may be, the Kremlin ghoul’s current legitimacy stands, like on those very "whales," on his talks with Trump.

For the Russian rabble, this is very, very important.

When Donald honors Vladimir with a conversation, the patriots straighten up and the propagandists’ mugs glow with happiness.

And then this kind of letdown.

Though of course, Trump didn’t blow Vova off "forever," just as a lesson. So the Russian vampire knows his geopolitical doormat and "waits anxiously for the master’s call."

The propaganda machine fell silent. First NATO summit flattened it, and then "Donnie didn’t even call."

Even Masha Zakharova, the "camel girl," kept quiet.

An Evening Lost to a Silent Phone

After the summit, Trump never called, and Putin spent the evening waiting by the phone.

Geopolitics stalled on someone else's call again.
