Andrius Kubilius, the EU commissioner for defense and space, said in an interview with Ekaterina Kotrikadze that they have information about Russia’s desire to attack European Union countries:

There is a danger of such a war. This is not something we, or politicians, or parliamentarians are saying about it; this is what our intelligence says, and the intelligence services of Germany and France say. And as always, for such a war not to happen, the countries of Europe must be ready to defend themselves. That is what we are doing.

We are preparing for the possibility that Russia may attempt new aggression. We are taking this seriously.
