“Alabuga” is recruiting students to assemble drones with the help of the video game “Battle of Drones: Ukraine” — T-invariant

Since spring 2026, the game “Battle of Drones: Ukraine” has been actively promoted on social media and by bloggers; with its help, the management of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is recruiting students to take part in assembling drones, writes T-invariant.

The patent for this tactical simulator, in which players must control a unit of drone forces, was registered by Alabuga SEZ CEO Timur Shagivaleev.

“Battle of Drones: Ukraine” is available in three languages: Russian, English, and Chinese.

Journalists write that Alabuga’s management is using the game to recruit students through the project “Stalin’s Falcons,” whose website lists vacancies for engineers and drone pilots.

“Stalin’s Falcons,” in particular, held a drone piloting tournament, and to pass the preliminary selection for it, participants had to win in “Battle of Drones: Ukraine.”

Drones based on Iranian Shaheds have been assembled in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Tatarstan since 2023. The SEZ includes the Alabuga Polytech college, whose students are recruited to assemble the drones.

In spring 2026, the Alabuga SEZ and Alabuga Polytech launched advertising in which teenagers talk about how they earn money by assembling drones.
