In Novosibirsk Region, a high-alert regime was introduced on July 8 due to a fuel shortage.

Local companies were advised to switch employees to remote work and reduce gasoline consumption, according to a decree by the regional government.

Residents, for their part, were advised to limit travel in private cars both within the region and beyond its borders until the high-alert regime is lifted.

In Tomsk Region, because of the fuel crisis, the government advised officials to hold meetings online more often so as not to waste fuel on trips in official vehicles.
