Pro-war blogger Yegor Guzenko (“Thirteenth”) has been remanded to a pretrial detention center in a case on inciting hatred

This was reported on his Telegram channel, which says that Guzenko has been arrested for two months. What the case is connected to is unknown.

On July 8, a post appeared on Guzenko’s channel saying that he had been detained under Article 282 of the Russian Criminal Code (incitement of hatred). “He never stood aside and always openly expressed his position. Now he is being accused of extremism,” the support group wrote, noting that Guzenko helped Russian servicemen and collected humanitarian aid.

“Thirteenth” has about 230,000 subscribers. He had also repeatedly criticized the Russian military leadership before. In 2021, he was placed under house arrest in a hooliganism case, but in March 2022 he violated the measure of restraint and went off to war. He was then detained in the fall of 2024 in a case involving an attack on a police officer. That case was suspended when Guzenko, after signing a contract in November, went back to the front.
