Security forces were reportedly called to Grazhdansky Lane after some kind of disturbance, Mash writes. The outlet did not specify what exactly the disturbance involved.

When Rosgvardiya officers arrived at the scene, the man tried to run from them, but they managed to catch and detain him. After that they "forced him onto his knees and continued beating him," and soon the man "dropped dead," Mash notes.

After that, the Investigative Committee launched an inquiry. But the agency clarified that during the autopsy, a forensic expert found no "bodily injuries that caused harm to health and the death of the detained offender... The cause of death is not criminal in nature."
