▪️A person close to Fedorov told us that a few weeks before his dismissal, the minister had been lobbying Elon Musk and other people in the United States to allow the use of "Starlinks" for strikes on Russia.

▪️Fedorov received assurances from Musk that this would be possible "if Trump says to do it," the person said. He added that the talks were interrupted after the government reshuffle.

▪️During his visit to the United States, Zelensky wanted to meet with Musk to discuss using "Starlinks" for strikes on the ballistic missile launchers with which Russia is bombing Ukrainian homes. Musk declined the meeting request.

A caveat is needed here, of course.

Even if Fedorov had managed to persuade Musk, it is not a fact that Trump would have agreed. More precisely, Trump most likely would NOT have agreed. You can see for yourselves: today Trump suddenly withdrew his permission for the production of "Patriots" in Ukraine.

Nevertheless, Fedorov really did have established contact with Musk.
