“Fundamentals of Russian Statehood” will become a mandatory subject at all universities in Russia

This was announced by Science and Higher Education Minister Valery Falkov. Three other subjects will also become mandatory for all students: Russian language, philosophy, and history.

At some universities, the course “Fundamentals of Russian Statehood,” developed under the supervision of the political bloc of the Russian presidential administration, began to be taught as early as 2023. Meduza’s sources in the Kremlin said its main goal was to turn students into a “patriotic intelligentsia.”
