Former FSB chief and Putin aide Patrushev says the Russian security service planned with the CIA to kill bin Laden
Former FSB chief and Putin aide Patrushev said that the Russian security service, together with the CIA, planned to kill bin Laden. He called the terrorist a U.S. "agent"
He said this in an interview with the TV channel Rossiya 24. Nikolai Patrushev claims that the Russian security service fulfilled its part of the agreement, while the American side did not.
"But we know that he is their agent and that for the time being they used him, and at the moment when he began to get in their way anymore - I think by simply compromising the activities of the intelligence services - they eliminated him," Patrushev claims.
