VTB has restricted cash withdrawals in annexed Crimea from cards issued by other banks until August

The bank told RBC about this.

"According to our statistics, the approved limits cover the absolute majority of users' daily transactions at our ATMs in the region. For VTB clients, all conditions remain unchanged. Against the backdrop of increased pressure on the network due to the state of emergency regime, the bank is maintaining priority access to funds for its clients," they said.

The maximum amount for one cash-withdrawal transaction per day is 15,000 rubles instead of 150,000, and the maximum monthly withdrawal amount is 50,000 instead of 300,000.

According to RBC, other banks operating on the peninsula have not yet introduced any restrictions on cash withdrawals from their own cards or from cards issued by other banks.
