More than 450 flights canceled and delayed at Moscow airports because of UAV attacks

This follows from Agentstvo’s calculations as of 16:00 Moscow time.

At Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo, aircraft arrivals were restricted at around 2 a.m. on Thursday, and by 8 a.m. aircraft arrivals and departures were also restricted at Domodedovo. This happened because of drone attacks: by 18:00, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that 54 drones flying toward the capital had been destroyed.

Restrictions at Sheremetyevo were lifted by 7 a.m., and Domodedovo resumed operations after 10:00. Vnukovo reopened after 19:00.

🔹At Vnukovo, by 16:00 the departure of 53 flights and the arrival of 50 flights had been canceled, while the departure of another 54 flights and the arrival of 58 flights had been delayed.

🔹At Sheremetyevo, since midnight the departure of 24 planes had been delayed and another 8 flights had been canceled. At least 161 planes will arrive or have already arrived late, and six were canceled.

🔹At Domodedovo, four departing and 50 arriving flights were delayed. One flight was canceled.
