Moscow City Court overturns decision to ban YaPlakal
This was reported by the press service of Moscow's courts of general jurisdiction on its Telegram.
The key reason for the review of the case was the legal groundlessness of the original ban. As a TASS source in the judicial system clarified, after studying the materials on the YaPlakal resource, Russia's Supreme Court did not find any expert examination on the basis of which the publications should have been banned.
Recall that this week the Chertanovsky court had earlier, at the end of March, declared prohibited humorous sketches from the "YaPlakal" portal and two joke websites. They were found to contain statements degrading human dignity and aimed at discrimination based on nationality or race.
The Ban Failed a Paper Check
The city court lifted the ban because no expert review was found.
The ruling arrived without a basis.
