Omsk Is Under Drone Attack, Authorities Cancel City Day Concert


Omsk Region Governor Vitaly Khotsenko reported that air defense forces are repelling an attack by Ukrainian drones. In connection with this, the authorities canceled all evening events, including the City Day concert on Cathedral Square.


The Ukrainian monitoring channel Supernova+ published a video showing smoke, allegedly coming from the territory of the Omsk Oil Refinery. There is no official confirmation of this information. Earlier in the day, Omsk Airport introduced temporary restrictions on accepting and dispatching flights, and their lifting has not yet been reported.


UPD: "As a result of the fall of debris from an enemy UAV shot down by Russian Defense Ministry air defense systems, a fire broke out in a field on the outskirts of Omsk. Firefighters are working at the scene. There are no casualties," Khotsenko said.
