Ukrainian drones attacked Bashneft’s oil refinery in Ufa for the second night in a row


The strike hit the Bashneft-UNPZ oil refinery in Ufa, the Telegram channel Astra writes after examining photos and videos from eyewitnesses.


Bashkortostan head Radiy Khabirov reported that air defenses repelled a massive drone attack on enterprises in the republic. According to him, one of the drones was shot down over Ufa’s industrial zone, and a fire broke out. Khabirov gave no details and did not name the enterprise.


The day before, the Security Service of Ukraine reported successful strikes on three oil refineries in Ufa on the night of August 1. Among the targets hit were Bashneft-UNPZ, as well as Bashneft-Novoil and Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim. These three plants make up the Ufa oil refining complex, one of the largest in Russia.
