General Aleksandr Chaiko’s daughter may have been injured in the Balzi Rossi restaurant explosion

Maria Chaiko, daughter of Aerospace Forces Commander-in-Chief Aleksandr Chaiko, may have been injured in the explosion at Balzi Rossi in Moscow, Vyorstka has found out.

A source close to the restaurant’s management told Vyorstka that Chaiko was among those injured in the explosion. The lists of injured people published by law enforcement-linked channels REN TV and 112 include “Maria P.,” aged 25. It is stated that she suffered an open traumatic brain injury.

As Vyorstka established, Maria Chaiko is also 25 years old; in addition, she is mentioned in leaked databases under the surname Peredriy. Chaiko and Peredriy have the same residential address and date of birth, and in phone books she is listed as “fiancée” and “Chaiko Maria.”

Peredriy is likely the surname of the general’s daughter’s husband. The list of injured people also includes 27-year-old “Daniil P.” According to leaks, this may be Daniil Peredriy, who is also 27. One of Maria Chaiko’s VK accounts is among his friends.

Chaiko did not read the message a Vyorstka reporter sent her on Telegram and did not answer the phone call.

Blogger Anatoly Shariy also reported that Chaiko may have been injured in the explosion. According to his information, Daniil Peredriy was killed. At the same time, he noted that he is “not claiming anything.”

Initially, it was reported to be a gas explosion, but later the National Anti-Terrorism Committee said that an explosive device had detonated, which a woman had tried to bring into the restaurant disguised as a gift. As a result of the explosion, according to the latest data, five people were killed and 21 were injured. The target may have been Aerospace Forces Commander-in-Chief Aleksandr Chaiko, whom the Ukrainian authorities accuse of involvement in crimes in the city of Bucha.
