Today at midnight Moscow time, the two-day “truce” that had previously been unilaterally declared by the Russian Defense Ministry came into effect. The ministry had demanded, in ultimatum form, that Ukraine join the ceasefire regime, threatening otherwise to strike Kyiv. The Ukrainian Armed Forces ignored this demand.


The Russian Defense Ministry claims that since midnight, 390 Ukrainian drones and six long-range Neptune guided missiles have been shot down “outside the special military operation zone.”
