Valery Skorodumov was found guilty of illegally influencing the outcome of sports competitions, the outlet writes Ostorozhno, Novosti.


It is reported that Skorodumov admitted guilt and struck a deal with the investigation, and his case was heard under a special procedure.


According to investigators, Skorodumov, together with Torpedo owner Leonid Sobolev and accountant Inna Volkova, influenced the outcome of 20 matches; in total, 13 referees received bribes.


🔵In 2025, after Torpedo reached the Russian Premier League, the media reported that a criminal case had been opened against the club’s owner and director over an attempt to bribe a referee. Torpedo was excluded from the list of Premier League participants.
