Only the leaders of three UN member states will attend the parade in Moscow
At the Victory Day parade in Moscow in 2026, only the heads of three UN member states will be present, as well as the presidents of the partially recognized Abkhazia and South Ossetia. As the Kremlin claims, all of them are coming on their own initiative.
“This year we did not send out special invitations, but some foreign figures expressed a desire to visit Moscow on these festive days and take part together with our leadership in the relevant events on May 9,” presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico will also come to Moscow on May 9, but he will not attend the parade.
