Boris Nadezhdin was detained under the article on displaying banned symbols, his lawyer Dmitry Trunin reports. Nadezhdin was taken to a police station in Dolgoprudny; later he will be taken to court. Last Friday, Nadezhdin was declared a foreign agent.


A report was drawn up against Nadezhdin\ over a photo of Navalny that appeared in a YouTube video for 10 seconds.


The report states that on November 8, 2023, Nadezhdin posted on his YouTube channel a link to Elvira Vikhareva’s\ video “A Candidate Against Putin 2024.”


For this post, Nadezhdin was accused of displaying extremist symbols
