Putin Orders Officials to ‘Consider the Issue’ of Easing Conditions for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses
Putin ordered officials to ‘consider the issue’ of easing conditions for small and medium-sized businesses
This is stated in the list of Putin’s instructions following the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
In particular, he instructed the government to “consider the issue of simplifying the conditions for conducting business activities for small and medium-sized enterprises engaged in the production of goods.”
Putin also ordered the development of national strategies for the development of “autonomous systems” and “digital platforms” through 2036, and to keep in place for businesses the 20 million ruble income threshold for using the simplified tax system without paying VAT.
🔵In June, the State Duma had already passed a law preserving the revenue threshold for paying VAT — it remains at 20 million rubles through the end of 2029.
