Morgenstern fined 7 million rubles in absentia in a “foreign agent” case
A Moscow magistrate’s court sentenced rapper Alisher Morgenstern to a fine of 7 million rubles in an in-absentia case over violating the requirements for “foreign agents,” Mediazona writes.
The criminal case was prompted by posts without “foreign agent” labels, published on Morgenstern’s Telegram, Instagram, and YouTube from March to June 2024.
The rapper had previously been fined repeatedly under a similar administrative article.
