Kirov Region is one of the worst-ranked regions in the road quality ranking: almost 75% of its roads do not meet standards. But State Duma deputy from the region Rakhim Azimov apparently does not care.


In his official report there is almost nothing about roads. What seems to matter most to this United Russia member is the “SMO” and the fight against “foreign agents.” Meanwhile, while residents of the region drive on wrecked roads, Azimov buys expensive cars, travels abroad, and registers elite real estate in his children's names.


This is what the “fight against corruption” looks like when carried out by the first deputy head of the relevant State Duma committee.
